Andrew joined the practice as Director in 2026 bringing with him a wide range of project experience across multiple sectors including Residential, Education, and commercial. Andrew has worked at senior level in London and in the South West as a Chartered Architect for 30 years and also undertakes a role as a professional examiner for the RIBA.

Andrew is a Chartered Architect and is lead at the Exeter office of Saunders Boston Architects, with extensive experience gained from his combined 30 years in the South West and London focused on residential development across private and public sectors, the latter comprising affordable housing which he is a keen champion of.
Education and Residential Experience:
Exeter College Masterplan (Previous practice)
Outline planning consent achieved for 15-year masterplan. Proposed 75% demolition of existing defunct buildings, faculty realignment and renewal across the Hele Road Campus. Significant involvement with College Principal, and Estates, PR and local Councillors for this major expansion of Exeter College. Full public and student engagement sessions.
Belonging and Inclusion Hub (SEND) (Previous practice)
Full planning for new SEND facility for students outside of mainstream education comprising a new single storey extension to an existing community health & wellbeing facility. New spaces include learning spaces, therapy, calm and self-study rooms. Upgrades to existing reception and associated spaces.
Paignton Library, Devon (Previous practice)
The project comprised a new library, multipurpose meeting rooms, café, media suite, tourist information, adult & community learning, Sure start offices & community police facilities.
Challenging due to its location within a historic flood zone. The building is raised 1.2m. The design is a memory of the saw tooth roof profiles of the former railway yard buildings. Natural ventilation and high thermal mass are utilised throughout.
Maudlin Farm, Liskeard, Cornwall (Previous practice)
46 new build homes (transferred to Treveth). Comprising OM Rent, Shared Ownership and Affordable Rent. Inception to Construction. All house types designed and scheme completed. Timber frame. Built as D&B with Classic Builders.
