Adam Garner

Adam joined us in 2013 bringing with him extensive educational experience. Involved in the design of a wide range of projects, with interests in sustainable design, planning and management of spaces within the built environment. Holding the philosophy that designers do not tell people how to work and live, but how to find new ways to organise space that encourages interaction and creativity.

Adam Garner

Why Adam is right for your project

My aim is simple, to design efficient and creative learning environments, focused on delivering practical, accessible spaces that positively impact on lives of those who use them, while ensuring each project is as sustainable as possible impacting positively on our climate, supporting the health and wellbeing of our communities and protecting and enhancing the biodiversity of our natural systems.

‘What is the most innovative feature of the design?

It may seem a silly answer but for me, the most innovative feature of the design is the users, as they find new ways to use spaces that we ‘boring adults’ would never think of! In some ways the design of a school is very similar to a stage set, provide the resources and see what they come up with!’
