Saunders Boston is now in their 50th year located in Cambridge. We have experienced dynamic growth over the last few years, in designing projects in and around Cambridge.
The practice’s local workforce has expanded to reflect this growth and we now need to extend our existing office space to accommodate additional staff members
The two storey extension will be located over the existing car parking area, with parking retained, providing us with a more efficient Reception area, Office Rooms, Meeting Rooms, Break out Spaces and enable us to comfortably accommodate all staff.
Consideration has been given for use of local sourced materials to help in the reduction of carbon emissions.
Cycle parking spaces have been provided to encourage the use of sustainable means of transport and reduce the carbon emissions further.
The building itself is designed to be energy efficient and using a high performance thermal envelope providing a high degree of insulation.
The extension has been designed to provide a well-defined frontage as well as an improved streetscape.
The planned timescale for completion is June 2021.
