SBA’s 5-aside team had the pleasure of being invited back to the Royal Town Planning Institute East Midlands Charity Football Tournament at GOALS Ipswich.
The teams prospects were high after the first game victory of 9-1 against Holmes & Hills Solicitors. A second game 2-1 defeat to familiar friends KMC Transport Planning was a minor setback before securing a 6-1 victory against Savills, topping the group stage ahead of the Semi’s.
After a hard fought and exhilarating semi-final match against Ceres Property, we unfortunately lost 2-1.
Congratulations to Ceres Property for going on to win the tournament!
As symbol of our exceptional effort SBA players received the following awards:
Maxwell Cantrell - Player of the Tournament
Jude Sedgwick - Top Goal Scorer
An extended congratulations to Jinbu Jun as ‘SBA’s Players player of the Tournament’ for his exceptional performance in goal, receiving commendation from all opponents.
Thank you to Howes Percival for sponsoring and Royal Town Planning Institute East for organising this wonderful event for a worthy cause.
