On 19th September the Manor House development in Lincoln Road, Peterborough was visited by members of Accent’s Executive Team and main Board.

Saunders Boston Architects (SBA) are working with Accent on this exciting three phase project that will see the existing offices of Accent converted into apartments with a further two phases seeing further conversion works and new build accommodation. All apartments are for Affordable rent.

Phase one is complete and phase two involves works to a Building of Local Interest, where SBA has worked closely with planners and the conservation officer. The final phase is well underway and will provide nine further apartments.

Accent’s members were given a guided tour of the development following on from presentations from Accent’s new Executive Director of Development and Growth, Sarah Ireland; SBA’s Director Darren Heffer; AECOM and main contractor Lindum Construction (Peterborough).

Darren Heffer, Director SBL, said:

“We are delighted to continue our excellent working relationship with Accent that goes back over many years. Working closely with Project Manager Helen Fortune, we believe that this exciting development will provide good quality, affordable homes in a highly sustainable town centre location for the local community. Having gained full planning consent we now look forward to working with Lindum Construction to see these new homes being realised.”

The project is due for completion late 2018 and has already been shortlisted for the Inside Housing Development Awards 2018.
