An extraordinary project for Saunders Boston Architects which includes the replacement of the existing leisure centre located in a beautiful park setting. A challenging project in challenging times. The new access bridge is in and the groundworks for the leisure centre are now underway in record time!
The new complex comprise an eight-lane 25m pool, a large teaching pool with moveable floor, spectator area, family changing village and group changing for schools. There will also be a new large gym and studio overlooking the park at first floor and a large public café opening into the park and serving the popular leisure site.
Well done to the entire team who is pushing the scheme forward with plenty of digital meetings while Wilmott Dixon and their partners storm ahead on site!
